UNITED KITCHEN DINING & TAPAS Latin American inspired tapas and cocktails

2/52 Fitzroy St, St Kilda - ph 03 9534 4470

United Kitchen Dining & Tapas is St Kilda's latest Latin American-inspired eatery.

We got a taste of their launch menu and loved the concept of using kitchen ingredients to create their cocktails.

Watermelon margaritas in the making at United Kitchen Dining & Tapas
The Sphere - vodka and raspberry infused cocktail with house made raspberry and watermelon syrups

The watermelon margarita (my new favourite drink!!!) is infused with fresh ginger and mint. The Sphere - a vodka and raspberry concoction - is made with house made raspberry and watermelon syrups. In a nutshell, THE COCKTAIL MENU ROCKS!

Now to the food - Chinese born and Mexican trained Head Chef Tong Li was inspired by his world travels to create the tapas menu that is full of fresh herbs and spices.
Soft shell crab with chimichurri sauce and fresh lime was one of my favourites - fresh, crispy and packed with flavour.

Slow cooked pork belly was tender and juicy. I love the combination of pork and pineapple and this one was a winner for me.

I love ceviche and United Kitchen Dining & Tapas version hit the spot. Made with sweet pineapple and a kick of jalapenos, the ceviche was not like anything that I have tried before - worth a try.

United Kitchen Dining & Tapas is all about the cooking sharing the cooking experience with a large bar area surrounding the space. I can picture myself coming back for happy hour drinks in summer, or some nibbles after taking a walk by the beach.

Oh, and have I mentioned how good the cocktails are? Go have a drink, you deserve it!

Big THANK YOU to Little Big Marketing for the invite.
